Reed is a political writer and researcher based in New York City. This is his passion project for the forseeable future. He was raised with his younger brother Max, in Oak Park, Illinois by small business owners Jill and Brent Showalter. Since graduating from New York University he has worked in campaign politics, legal aid, financial regulation, and market research. The past 6 years, he has travelled to 41 countries doing research on culture and public opinion. He currently attends Columbia Law School in New York where he focuses his studies on economic and political justice. His favorite words are loquacious and serendipity.
Parag graduated from Northwestern with a degree in Political Science, International Studies and a minor in Hindi and Urdu. He assists with interviews and content for the site. He has been interested and engaged in politics since high school, when he was involved heavily with Speech and Debate. During college, he interned at the Center for American Progress and the White House Office of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs. Parag attends the University of Chicago Law School where his studies focus on criminal law. Aside from watching shows on Netflix and HBO, Parag enjoys photography.
